How we decide

  • Assessment first. We check seven points on every window: glass, frame, hardware, weather seals, exterior perimeter seal, interior perimeter seal and installation.
  • Dual Pathway™. Restore, replace, or both, window by window.
  • 25-year standard. We only recommend restoration if we believe it can perform for 25 years or more. It is a decision test, not a warranty.
  • Glass only when the frame is sound. Replacing only the glass is a lasting fix when the frame is sound. If the frame is rotted, warped or leaking, we recommend replacement.

Glass and warranty

  • Low-E glass is standard on every sealed unit at no extra cost, with argon fill and a desiccant spacer. Units are made by an IGMAC-certified fabricator.
  • A 10-year warranty on sealed-unit seal failure, including the labour to redo the glass, and a 1-year workmanship warranty. Both transfer to a new owner.

Pricing

We don't publish a price list. Costs depend on the work each window needs, and we give a written quote after an assessment. There's no charge for the assessment. See what drives window repair and replacement costs.
