Who We Are

We’re a family-run team serving the Greater Toronto Area, working on residential, commercial and industrial properties. We’ve manufactured window and door components, installed them, and restored them, on projects of every size. That range is why we can look at a window and tell you what’s actually failing, and whether it’s worth keeping. Our lead technicians bring thirty years of windows and doors experience. We’re fully insured, with WSIB coverage in good standing, and our certificate of insurance and WSIB clearance certificate are available on request.

Why We Do It

Restore First. Replace When Right.

Most homeowners are told the only option is to replace everything. Often that isn’t true. A fogged unit, worn hardware, or failed caulking can usually be fixed for a fraction of a full replacement, and a sound window is worth keeping. Our job is to diagnose the system honestly, show you what we see, and recommend the path that actually serves the next 25 years. We only point you toward replacement when restoration can’t responsibly get you there.

How We Do It

Workmanship With Integrity

We hold ourselves to the highest standards in every project, delivering quality and craftsmanship you can trust.

Relationships First

Our clients are at the heart of our service. We prioritize professionalism and a human-centred approach to customer service, fostering lasting partnerships.

Diagnosis Before Solutions

We diagnose the real problem before recommending a fix, so every recommendation is earned through assessment, not guesswork, and built to stand the test of time.

The people who will actually be on your job

WRE is family run. These are the people who answer your call, assess your windows, and do the work.

Kumail Sayeed

Lead Advisor and Client Intake Coordinator

The first person you speak to at WRE. Five years in the trade and ten years in client intake, which means the first conversation is a diagnosis rather than a sales call. Kumail's job is to understand what you are dealing with before anyone quotes anything.

Isauro “Pa” Benitez

Lead Technician and Co-founder

Thirty years in windows and doors. Pa is the reason the restoration side of the business exists. If a window can be brought back, he is usually the one who can tell you how, and if it cannot, he will say so.

Grant Bourck

Lead Technician, Project Management

Ten years in construction and five in windows and doors. Grant runs work on site and holds the line on how a job gets finished, not just whether it gets finished.

John Elten

Operations Manager

Twelve years running operations in long-term care and healthcare software, where getting people and materials into occupied buildings on a fixed schedule is the whole job. That is the same problem as ours. John owns crew scheduling, job sequencing, supply ordering and quality control, and he is the point of contact between WRE, our suppliers and you. Once your quote is approved and the deposit is in, John is the person who calls you and stays with the job until it is done, including any warranty claim.

Chantal Benitez Barsoum

COO and Co-founder

Three years in windows and doors, and before that a career in corporate consulting and change management, internal communications and systemization across the public sector and boutique firms. Chantal owns HR, IT, training and development, and the systems the company runs on. She is why the process behind the work is as organized as the work itself: scheduling that holds, invoicing that makes sense, and a team that is briefed before it arrives at your home.

Edward “Eddy” Benitez

Founder and CEO

Twelve years in the industry, and the person who decided WRE would diagnose before it sells. The advisory model, the Dual Pathway, and the rule that we only recommend restoration when we can stand behind a 25 year outcome all come from him.
